LAUGHTER FILLED DAYS!

"The most wasted of all days is a day without laughter."~E.E.Cummings

A little laughter goes a long way! Laughter bonds people together, and brings joy to the heart and soul. Many will tell you that laughter is the shortest distance between two people, especially in marriage. It is a healthy habit to take hold of for all loving couples. "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them." Psalm 126:2
"Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart." Psalm 32:11
God desires for us all to be full of joy, He wants us to live our lives with happiness and contentment. The Bible has a total of 187 references for the term joy. What does that say about God and His desire for joy in our lives? The definition of joy tells us, Joy- the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation: a source or cause of keen pleasure or delight; something or someone greatly valued or appreciated. Well there is nothing more satisfying or that will give more keen pleasure to our lives than God. He is the SOURCE and CAUSE for unspeakable JOY! Sure there are occasions and events in life that cause a measurable amount of joy to ones life but the joy that comes from above is unmeasurable and flows abundantly. It is endless, it does not dry up but continually flows from above to all that serve Him and seek after His righteousness. What a blessing and pleasure we would be to those around us if we shared the joy of the Lord with all we come in contact with. We would make better wives, mothers, daughters and friends if we expressed more often the God given joy that is given to each of us who serve Him! I pray that I show as often as possible the goodness of the Lord and allow all who know me to see the difference the Lord has made in my life! I pray that I will always be a living testimony of what the Lord can do. So others will want to model after His ways so they to can experience true joy, peace, and contentment through serving Him. Christians too experience bad days, we live in a world full of evil and destruction. In which the devil is lurking around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. We must continually keep ourselves guarded under the blood of Jesus. So that we may be able to overcome and have the power to conquer any evil thing that may try to war against us. Always knowing that God is with us and will protect and shield us from any harm. There is unspeakable joy knowing that what ever we may face we will triumphantly be victorious through the power of the Lord! What greater joy is there than knowing that He is always watching and keeping His children safe and protected. Continually uplifting each of us and encouraging us to press forward, and to continue in faith through all things. What a difference it makes in our lives to know Him and have a life full of blessings!
